After the introductory poem you will be prompted to tap
the "Spacebar" repeatedly. After this short interaction,
the adventure will begin!
Use the Arrow keys or the "W", "A", "S", "D" keys and
the "Spacebar" to make the character move and jump.
Holding the "Shift" key while moving, will make him move
faster and jump even higher.
Pressing the "Escape" key at any time will bring up the
game menu. From there, you can choose Levels, Save
and Load game-states and make the aplication run at Full
Screen in your browser.
Please note that you can save as many times as you like
at any given save slot, but saving on the same slot will
overwrite the previous save state.
The work “memories” (2013) is an audio-visual
narration of a digital world which is comprised of
personal experiences and recollections.
The viewer, through an interactive platform, controls a
paper-thin character and unfolds thoughts and feelings
from my childhood until today.

Click on the Ship to play
"Hellrain" pays homage to video games like Space
Invaders and the old Arcade Shooting genre. The player
controls a ship with the mouse and has to protect the city,
by destroying waves upon waves of falling meteorites.

"Hellrain" was made as a test, it was a way for me to learn
how to program a simple game using Construct 2,
Scirra's 2d game creation engine.

It is by no means a finished product, it lacks basic game
functions like saving or keeping some kind of a score,  but
nevertheless, I think it is still fun to play.

Protect the towers! Don't let the meteors hit them and
survive the Hellrain event until the end!

Use your mouse to aim and to move the spaceship
around. The left button fires lasers. The right button
fires the Superblast (later on).

Tips:
-Your Ship can take a beating. As a last resort, you
can use it to shield the towers.
-Manage your shots carefully, try not to miss and use
the tower's lasers to your advantage.
-The meteor shower will worsen over time. Don't worry,
your ship will upgrade too!
